When conceiving of this project for Amur, we consider everything that’s been mentioned here
and consider ourselves in a position of problematic privilege in the event that an actual airdrop is orchestrated.
We do not take this lightly. We do not intend to inflict tactical fear or unethical manipulation on an unsuspecting audience.
We do not intend to cause wreckage.
It is preferred that we take on the commentary of aerial privilege as it relates to provisions of peace.
Our ‘Impact,’ as it may be framed, can be instrumentalized in a number of ways.

If it comes to be that an airdrop is performed as an act under our authorship,
the act’s awareness of what I’ve presented today and what we will continue to collect and revise cannot be stated strongly enough.
What we would actuate would be a performance, within a global theater.
We realize that it is unlikely to remove politics from an event like this.
We hope that, by imitating and parodying these effects,
to create a discourse not dissimilar from what Debord and Becker-Ho likely intended with A Game of war.

A consideration we have been maintaining is to suspend the actual event of an airdrop
until requirements of certain pre-determined conditions arrive into place.
This would concur with thorough planning and gratuitous strategizing, of which would serve as a visual reference beyond the event itself –
a type of reverse-engineer of the Von Karman vortex street.

The outcome will bear aesthetics of necessity, and of tenuous responsibility towards action.
Ultimately, we anticipate a symbolic event where it might refrain in material insistence.
